Doctoral course program at Karolinska Institutet
Happening now:
Cell Biology and Genetics is a university-spanning and interdepartmental doctoral course program that invites all doctoral students at Karolinska Institutet to participate in the different activities it organizes or sponsors. The program is a collaboration with the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, LICR (Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research), DBRM (Developmental Biology for Regenerative Medicine: a Linnnaeus center in Stockholm) and Wirm (Wallenberg Institute for Regenerative Medicine). In addition to that, the program collaborates with a number of other organisations in Sweden and abroad in the organisation of individual courses.
The aim of the program is to support the science education of any doctoral students within Cell biology and genetics, or related fields. The program bridges various research disciplines within pre-clinical and clinical research. The courses offered by the program are open to all doctoral students in Swedish universities, and the program also welcomes applications from doctoral students from other countries.
